JSF vs Flex Components

When developing JSF applications, I rely heavily on these two sites as reference for the Tag syntax.

With Flex, there’s a similar tool where you can see Flex 3 components in action.

Try visiting and comparing the mentioned sites and you’ll probably have an idea why I’m really excited about developing applications in Flex.

I just discovered the Flex Style Explorer which can be used to generate CSS for your Flex applications.

    Really cool stuff.

I also discovered that you can run the Flex Component Explorer locally if you have downloaded the Flex SDK.

Just run the build.bat or build.sh file under FLEX_SDK\samples\explorer\ and you are ready to go.

Open the explorer.html file afterwards to see the Flex components in action.
